On 10 June 2019, the Vatican issued a document providing Catholic educators — and anyone else with an interest in the subject — with guidance in dealing with the gender issues being broadly debated in today’s culture. The document provides a path for dialogue on the issues while maintaining the teachings of the Church on the fundamental differences between male and female in God’s plan.
