Doctrinal Assessment of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious

On 18 April 2012, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith released a doctrinal Assessment of the U.S. Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR), calling for reform of the LCWR under the leadership of Archbishop Peter Sartain of Seattle with the assistance of Bishop Leonard Blair and Bishop Thomas John Paprocki. The document listed a number of matters of concern, including serious theological and doctrinal errors.
